It may show light cosmetic marks, such as fine scratches or scuffs, that do not affect how it works. It ships in the original box or a plain replacement box. The condition page explains it in full.
A new machine has never been opened. This one is a Breville Barista Express, model BES870XL, that was opened or used as a display unit, so it can show light cosmetic marks. It is not sold as new, and the price is the price of an open-box unit.

Yes, within 30 days. The machine must come back complete and clean. A fault after that is covered by the 1-year warranty.
